Jump Rope for Heart, is where people skip and get donations from others, like family and friends, we raised this money for children with heart problems. We had 5 rotations, one for every whanau. It was a fun morning and it was really nice to see lots of older buddies helping the littler ones. The teachers from every whanau, Te Waka, Te Moana, Te Wheuna, Nga Manu and Te Awa, set up a course or activity, as you will see in the photos below. Well done to everyone that took part in this day, keep skipping!

Inquirers - Here to Stay inquiry guest speakers
On Thursday 13th of November the Inquirers had two guest come in to speak to us about immigration. The first was Cassie (from here) and the other was Thea. Cassie spoke first, she came from Zimbabwe when she was six because her dad had a business offer to come to NZ two years earlier. She said in Zimbabwe it was really hot and dry and she had never seen the beach before, (Zimbabwe is landlocked.)
Thea came from Holland ,Netherlands, and said Holland is a very small but very full country. All the houses are joined together by the walls so if you smashed the wall you would break the neighbors wall as well as your own. Another thing was that the food was different. Another thing was the celebrations because on the 4-5th of December there was a celebration called Saint Nicolas that is just like Christmas.
