Kapanui School Science Fair

Congratulations to the following children selected by our judges at our school science fair last Thursday. These children will go on to represent Kapanui School at the Kapiti Interschool Science fair this week. This is to be held at Kapiti primary school. A huge thanks to our judges for the day - Janet Weber , Christine Bruce and Jocelyn Prvanov.

Swap a toy party

On the 13th of June, Kapanui school held a party day. Swap a toy is all about bringing in a toy you don't use to school. It has to be in good condition and not a McDonald toy. When you bring in your toy, you get a blue, yellow or red coupon to get another toy of your choice. On the day there were HEAPS of kids and seniors in the hall waiting patiently for their turn to be called up. Miss Hakkens even gave out spot prizes for you to get a FREE toy without spending your coupon. Someone got a HUGE dirt truck which was up to their knee!!! Everyone enjoyed the party heaps and got a loved their new toy.
