Cyberbusters

CYBER BULLYING SHOW

On the 5th of March, the Explorers, Inquirers and Rangatahi syndicates went to the school hall to watch a show called Cyber busters. This show was all about what to do if you are being bullied.
Cyber bullying is not normal bullying but bullying on the internet.
Cyber bullies like to get reactions off people by name calling and sending pictures of people around the internet.
This show was very interesting for me because I have actually never heard about cyber bullying before I watched the performance.
I think everyone enjoyed this show and learned a lot about cyber bullying.

Making Moving March Maps

For a moving march activity we had to draw a map of our route to school. The winners would get a bright yellow cover for there bag so people could see them if they biked to school on the road. A lot of people participated in the making of maps. Hannah HadField  a person my class was one of the people that participated in it. Here is an interview.

What was you favourite part Hannah? Making the map

How long did it take?In total it took 5 hours

Where you happy with the finish product?Yes

Thank you Hannah for your time. Well done to all those who  participated in the map making you all did a great job. Most of all thank you to the mediators who organised it you also did a wonderful job. That's all from me.Bye

Jump Jam

JUMP JAM

Around 30 very enthusiastic and amazing kids in year 5 and 6 are jump jam leaders. They practice every Wednesday at lunch time for about half the lunch time. The real Jump Jam day is Friday in the afternoon.

It's nice to see happy faces on the little kids.I am one of the leaders myself and I think that the little kids that enjoy Jump Jam will be a Jump Jam leader when they are year 5 or 6.

Some of the Jump Jam leaders are going to go to Wellington for the day to do the Jump Jam practice for the whole day in town and only 15 leaders are out of 30 so every one is working hard to empress Mrs Sutton our Jump Jam teacher because she is picking the ones that go.

I enjoy being a leader it's super fun and I recommend that the little kids should try to be a leader when they are older. One thing that's really good about being a leader is that it improves your fitness a little bit and it gets you up moving around.

So I enjoy Jump Jam and I hope you enjoyed this story that's all from me, bye!!!
