Inline hockey
On the 2nd and 3rd of April the Inquirers did in line hokey the classes that did it were room 8, 13, 11, 14, 18. We all learnt to use 4 wheel skates on the skates we did a obstacle course and in that course we had to step over sticks and we also had to control our skates so we could do the turns. We also did a limbo under a stick and then we had to learn how to use a stick at the same time as well as being on skates. Later we had a game then we had to pack up and go because it was almost time to go home. Before they left they told us that they have a club that you can go to learn more about inline hokey and we took some photos for the blog here they are:

Crazy world of Science!
On the 15th of May, the Crazy world of Science came to Kapanui School ran by a scientist named Richard. It was a show galore of magic, science and so much fun!!!
The starting act was a big explosion of red and orange foam caused by a mixture of chemicals, ran all down the table and onto the hall floor; he called it the amazing elephant toothpaste!
His second scene of the performance was a captivating rocket launch using a plastic container of water and a energy pill. He then tipped the container upside down and it launched up to the roof like a rocket!
My favourite part was when he used his toilet paper gun as it went flying everywhere and I got all covered up in it!
The final display of crazy science was when Richard hypnotised us with a spiraling wheel and his head got bigger and bigger!!!
Screams filled the hall as everyone fell victim to his trick. It was so incredible and I would definitely want to watch him perform his show again. 5 STARS

WACKY WEDNESDAY!!!
On the 14th of May, Kapanui school held a day called Wacky Wednesday. Wacky Wednesday is to help fundraise for the Waikanae volting club. Their club was chosen to travel to France and Germany in September to hold a tournament there. One of the contributors was a girl from Kapanui school named Danielle. Danielle has been taking part in this sport for four years now and is so excited to go traveling around the world. On Wacky Wednesday you had to dress up in the wackiest costume you could think of. They had sausages for $2 and prizes for the best hair and costumes. It was so fun!!!
